Not a drop of wiper fluid is spilled with the Bosch Jet Wiper

Leen Van Parys

Anderlecht, March 2015 – A good view is essential for safe driving. A dirty front window reduces the driver’s view. The new Bosch Jet Wipers enters into force when dirt reduces the visual field. This innovative wiper arm is now part of the standard equipment of the new Volvo XC90, consisting of a wiper motor and Aerotwin bracket free wiper. The Bosch Jet Wiper is by far superior to the conventional wipers, thanks to the intelligent control and integrated nozzles. The spray nozzles distribute the wiper fluid evenly over the length of the wiper arm, in order to ensure an optimal cleaning of the front window. "The Jet Wiper distributes the right amount of washer fluid to the right place," says Bernhard Straub, chairman of the Bosch Electrical Drives division. This has a double advantage: the driver's visibility is not affected by the spray and the wiper fluid is saved by up to 50 percent.
