Changing the tires on your vehicle or driving long screws into hard squared timber – when building a carport, wooden terrace, or a garden swing, for instance – is now a whole lot easier with the UniversalImpactDrive 18V-350 from Bosch. This is the first cordless impact wrench with square drive in the DIY range and, thanks to its high loosening torque of 560 Nm, can even loosen tight wheel nuts and corroded screws. The new impact wrench is part of the ‘18V Power for All System’ which also covers all representative tools in each segment, currently comprises about 80 DIY tools, gardening tools, and home appliances, and even extends beyond the Bosch range with additional partners in the cross-brand ‘Power for All Alliance’. All tools – from rotary hammer to lawn mower and even vacuum cleaner – can be operated with the same 18V lithium-ion battery and only one charger. This saves users space and money and protects the environment.

Light, balanced, versatile

With an unladen weight of just over 1 kg, the UniversalImpactDrive 18V-350 is one of the lightest products of its kind in the market. It is therefore easier to accomplish difficult jobs, especially working overhead. The cordless impact wrench offers powerful performance at up to 3,400 impacts per minute, effortlessly tightening screws up to 10 mm in diameter and up to 140 mm long. With the attached battery – Bosch recommends a battery of at least 2.5 Ah – it feels well-balanced in the hand. The balanced weight distribution has a positive effect on operating safety, as does the impact mechanism, which transfers the force and rotational movement directly to the screw, thus protecting the user’s wrist.

The UniversalImpactDrive 18V-350 is versatile: it features a standard square drive, and with the included adapter, hex bits can also be attached. Three settings allow for quick and convenient adjustment of speed, torque, and impact rate at the push of a button, making it easy to adapt to various applications.

Robust and powerful thanks to the brushless motor

Thanks to its efficient performance, the durable brushless motor generates a loosening torque of 560 Nm and up to 350 Nm of tightening torque ‒ enough to handle demanding tasks in the home and garden. If you want to fit a tire, for instance, you can set the torque of the UniversalImpactDrive 18V-350 to level 1 (which corresponds to 85 Nm) at the touch of a button, tighten the tire quickly and easily, and fine-tune the last few turns with a manual torque wrench. This saves an enormous amount of time. The tool also offers fast and fatigue-free working, such as when assembling heavy shelves in a garage or workshop. The integrated LED light also helps in poor lighting conditions.

The UniversalImpactDrive 18V-350 cordless impact wrench is now available for purchase. All stated prices are recommended retail prices and include VAT.
