Bosch and Microsoft develop software platform for seamless connectivity between cars and cloud

Bosch and Microsoft are joining forces to develop a software platform for seamlessly connecting cars and the cloud. The aim is to make it quicker and easier to develop vehicle software throughout the car’s lifetime, as well as to download it to the control units and vehicle computers via the cloud. It plans to use innovative development tools that greatly increase efficiency in the software development process. This will shorten innovation cycles and reduce development costs for vehicle software, which is becoming ever wider in scope.
