Changes on the board of management of Robert Bosch GmbH

Stuttgart, Germany – Effective October 1, 2024, the following personnel changes will take effect on the board of management of Robert Bosch GmbH: Katja von Raven (53) is joining the board of management of Robert Bosch GmbH and assuming responsibility for the Power Tools division from Dr. Christian Fischer and for Bosch Global Service Solutions from Dr. Tanja Rueckert.

Effective October 1, 2024, von Raven will join Bosch from the U.S. company S.C. Johnson & Son Inc. A business economics graduate and MBA, von Raven has been responsible for the global management of high-value brand articles since 2019, when she became CEO of S.C. Johnson Professional. Prior to that, she worked in executive management for various brand manufacturers in Europe and the United States. At the garden equipment manufacturer Husqvarna, she bore full responsibility for its European consumer brands business, bringing innovations to market in areas such as battery and robot technology. As president for the EMEA and Asia regions at the U.S. building technology manufacturer Chamberlain Group, she renewed its product portfolio to bring it into line with changing customer requirements. In addition, von Raven’s career has included executive positions at the consumer products and household goods manufacturer Newell Rubbermaid and at the power tools and home appliances manufacturer Black & Decker.

Dr. Stefan Hartung, the chairman of the board of management of Robert Bosch GmbH, added: “With her profound and wide-ranging understanding of the B2B and B2C business with branded consumer goods in industries in which Bosch has long operated, Katja von Raven will enhance our management team. We’re looking forward to working with her.”

Dr. Christian Fischer (56) the deputy chairman of the board of management of Robert Bosch GmbH and limited partner Robert Bosch Industrietreuhand KG, will now focus more on Bosch Group strategic growth initiatives, while retaining his overall responsibility for the Consumer Goods business sector and responsibility for BSH Hausgeräte GmbH.

As CDO, Dr. Tanja Rueckert (54) bears corporate responsibility for digital business and services, and will continue to drive forward the digitalization that is gaining ground throughout the company. She will also retain her overall responsibility for the Industrial Technology business sector as well as her regional duties.
