CO2 emissions during the use of different means of transport

As an evaluation by the Federal Environment Agency shows, the eBike is one of the lowest-emission means of transport. When using an eBike, the electricity consumption results in average CO₂ emissions of 3 g CO₂/person-kilometer (pkm), depending on the electricity mix.
