As powerful as a corded glue gun, but with full freedom of movement of a cordless tool: As the first glue gun in the ‘18V Power for All System’, the AdvancedGlue 18V from Bosch can be used in a variety of ways: From DIY jobs around the home through to filigree DIY projects, the AdvancedGlue 18V can be used for cordless gluing without any loss of performance. The ‘18V Power for All System’ covers all representative tools per segment, currently comprises about 60 DIY, garden, and home appliances, and even extends beyond the Bosch range with additional partners in the cross-brand ‘Power for All Alliance’. All tools – from rotary hammer to lawn mower and even vacuum cleaner – can be operated with the same 18V lithium-ion battery and only one charger. This saves DIYers space and money and protects the environment.

Constantly high temperature – strong adhesive bonds

The new cordless glue gun is quickly ready for use with a very short heat-up time of just 90 seconds. DIYers can choose between two temperature settings – 130 degrees and 200 degrees Celsius. The low-temperature mode of 130 degrees is ideal for processing heat-sensitive materials such as Styrofoam®. With the high-temperature mode of 200 degrees, the AdvancedGlue 18V creates strong adhesive bonds that are otherwise only common with corded tools. This means that even skirting boards, drawers, or decorative panels stick reliably.

Exact work without any interruptions

The high standard operating temperature of the AdvancedGlue 18V produces a high throughput of the glue, which is consequently more liquid. DIYers therefore have enough time to precisely align and stick even larger panels and strips. All this is possible without any interruptions since the AdvancedGlue 18V achieves a throughput of ten glue sticks with one 2.5 Ah battery charge. The feed lever enables precise dosing of the glue. Modelmakers and DIYers who depend on accurate glue application can use the extra-long nozzle to apply glue very precisely in a controlled way: The workpiece is therefore always clearly visible and the glue lands precisely where it should. If the glue gun is ever left switched on by mistake, the auto-off function is triggered: The intelligent system notices the inactivity and automatically switches off the glue gun after ten minutes.

The cordless glue gun AdvancedGlue 18V will be available from October 2022 onwards. The suitable glue sticks are available in the Bosch range of accessories. All stated prices are recommended retail prices including VAT.
