Users can now enjoy the benefits of comfortable and efficient lawn trimming with the UniversalGrassCut 18 and the EasyGrassCut 18 from Bosch. Both cordless trimmers offer a high level of user comfort and can reliably cut grass, nettles and undergrowth with their line. The tools differ in terms of design and their cutting system: The UniversalGrassCut 18 combines advanced ergonomics with an innovative spool management including automatic line feeding; ensuring that work progresses quickly. The EasyGrassCut 18 is lightweight and easy to operate, using a semi-automatic line feeding system. It is particularly suitable for trimming smaller gardens. Both trimmers feature a new design in Bosch Pale Green and Black with a high-quality surface.

Ergonomic and fast: UniversalGrassCut 18 for medium-sized gardens

The UniversalGrassCut 18 has been designed to comfortably and efficiently trim medium-sized gardens. For the first time, it features two height-adjusta¬ble handles arranged in a V shape. These handles distribute weight across both arms, ensuring an ergonomic working position and reducing strain on the back. The UniversalGrassCut 18 also ensures that work progresses quickly: The new InteliFeed spool management detects when the line is insufficient and increases the line length automatically, making manual line tracking unnecessary. In addition, the spool and line can be changed much more quickly and easily: The line is enclosed in a sleeve to prevent it from jumping from the spool when it is removed. There is also an eyelet in the spool cap through which the line runs to the outside of the device, preventing the line becoming snagged in the spool. The result is a high comfort level when using the trimmer and changing accessories.

Thanks to its telescopic system and adjustable trimmer head, the UniversalGrassCut 18 boasts a high degree of flexibility and can tackle a wide range of tasks. For the first time, users can select between three cutting positions using a foot pedal, eliminating the need for inconvenient stooping: One position for normal trimming, one for trimming in difficult-to-reach areas such as under garden benches and one for edge cutting. A small wheel on the tool head protects plants from unintentional cutting and can be used as a guide wheel when trimming edges. After work is completed, the tool can be stored without taking up much space: Simply fold in the handles and lower the telescopic system, and the trimmer can easily fit in a garden shed, cellar or garage.

Lightweight and comfortable: EasyGrassCut 18 for smaller gardens

The EasyGrassCut 18 is designed for comfortable lawn care in smaller gardens: It is well-balanced, lightweight and has an adjustable auxiliary handle. Its powerful motor and durable cutting line ensure quick and reliable results. The line length increases automatically once the start button is pressed. This enables users to work without interruption. Precision edge cutting is now achievable without needing to stoop over: Instead of turning the head, users can simply press the button on the handle and rotate it by 180 degrees. Users who prefer a cable model can use the EasyGrassCut 23. This offers all the benefits of a cordless model with the exception of the head adjustment and is even more lightweight.

Work for longer: Maximum runtime, thanks to the “Syneon Chip”

These devices always provide the maximum runtime for each application. This means that users of the UniversalGrassCut 18 can cut up to 500 meters, and users of the EasyGrassCut 18 can cut up to 450 meters. The basis for this superior performance is the optimum coordination of key components such as the motor and gearbox, combined with an intelligent electronic system called the “Syneon Chip”. Furthermore, the cordless trimmers run on full power until the battery is empty – right up to the last second of cutting.

A smart combination: “Power for All” from Bosch

The UniversalGrassCut 18 and EasyGrassCut 18 are part of the “Power for All” battery system, which comprises DIY and garden tools. More than 25 power tools, from trimmers to rotary hammers, can currently be operated using the same 18 volt lithium-ion battery. This enables do-it-yourselfers to do without batteries and chargers that they do not need, and they can save money at the same time. The “Power for All” logo on the packaging displays which tools are part of the system.

The UniversalGrassCut 18 and EasyGrassCut 18 cordless trimmers as well as the EasyGrassCut 23 corded model will be available from January 2019 onwards. The prices listed are recommended retail prices including VAT.
