Bosch is expanding its range of 18V tools for carpentry and interior finishing with four cordless nail guns and a cordless stapler for simple and precise fastening. The cordless nail guns vary in terms of the compatible nail types, with nail sizes of 1.2 to 1.8 mm (18ga to 15ga) available, as well as lengths of between 16 and 64 mm. The cordless stapler uses 1.2 mm (18ga) staples with a crown of 5.8 mm and a length of between 9.5 and 38 mm. All five cordless tools operate with a long-lasting brushless motor. Bosch recommends a ProCore18V battery with 4.0 Ah capacity for convenient and efficient working. The cordless system offers professionals greater flexibility than conventional pneumatic tools or gas-powered nail guns at comparable performance levels. Thanks to the specially designed triggering mechanism with a flywheel drive, these tools have significantly lower recoil than compressed-air nail guns. This protects users’ wrists and the tool itself from damage. The Professional 18V System covers all major 18V applications and even works with brands beyond Bosch, with additional partners in the multi-brand AmpShare battery alliance. All tools – from compact drill drivers to miter saws – can run on the same 18V lithium-ion battery and charger, thus saving tradespeople time, space, and money.
