Bosch aims to offer the right tools for every trade and make work easier for tradespeople. The Professional 18V System now includes cordless hydraulic tools for electrical installation: the GPH 18V-60 Professional crimping tool, the GKH 18V-50 Professional cutting tool, and the GLH 18V-60 Professional punching tool. This allows electricians to cover a wide range of tasks and switch flexibly between 18V tools such as screwdrivers, saws, angle grinders, and hydraulic tools within the system. The battery system even goes beyond the Bosch range, thanks to multiple partners in the multi-brand AmpShare alliance. Many brands. Many tools. One battery system: This saves tradespeople time, space, and money.

Long maintenance interval, excellent handling

All three tools use a durable and reliable cordless hydraulic system that offers users a long maintenance interval of 20,000 cycles. A status LED at the base of the tool indicates upcoming maintenance in good time. All processes are documented: Professionals can read out the crimping, cutting, or punching history via a USB-C output on the tool. This allows them to verify, for instance, that crimping has been carried out at 60 kN. The number of cycles run, error messages, and other tool parameters can also be called up. The read-out software can be downloaded free of charge from the respective tool website.

Thanks to the ergonomic design and balanced weight, tradespeople have a comfortable and secure grip on the tools in all working conditions. The tool heads – which can be rotated 340 degrees on the crimping tool and 360 degrees on the other tools – are a great help when working in hard-to-reach places. The tools each have an on/off switch on the front and a manual pressure release switch on the back. An integrated LED light illuminates the work area. For an optimum balance of runtime, power, and weight, Bosch recommends using a ProCore18V battery with 4.0 Ah.

GPH 18V-60 Professional crimping tool

The GPH 18V-60 Professional crimping tool crimps cable lugs and connectors safely and reliably on copper and aluminum cables with cross-sections of up to 300 mm². The tool delivers a constant force of 60 kN thanks to an electronic sensor that precisely monitors the pressure. Once the crimping process is complete, the status LED lights up green and the crimping piston automatically returns to its starting position. High-quality crimping dies for copper cables with cross-sections from 6 to 300 mm² and aluminum cables with cross-sections from 10 to 300 mm² are available in the Bosch range of accessories.

GKH 18V-50 Professional cutting tool

The GKH 18V-50 Professional reliably cuts copper and aluminum cables of conductor classes 2 and 5 with a diameter of up to 40 mm. Blades made of hardened steel and with special cutting geometry ensure clean cuts so that the cable ends can easily be used afterwards. Thanks to the intelligent cutting detection, the jaws open automatically after each cut – saving time and protecting the tool and blades.

GLH 18V-60 Professional punching tool

The GLH 18V-60 Professional punches almost burr-free holes in steel up to 3 mm thick and stainless steel up to 2.5 mm thick with a force of up to 60 kN. Holes can be created quickly and easily in switch cabinets, for instance, if they are needed to feed through additional cables. The Bosch accessories range includes punches in sizes M16 to M40 for holes up to 40.5 mm in diameter and in sizes PG9 to PG36 for holes up to 47 mm in diameter. Each individual punch cuts reliably through both steel and stainless steel.

The crimping tool, cutting tool, and punching tool are now available for purchase. The prices are recommended retail prices and do not include VAT.
