Conveniently cleaning your bike or outdoor equipment on-the-go before loading it into your car: With the new Fontus 18V-6 Bike Cleaner cordless low pressure cleaner from Bosch, this can be done easily. The compact tool is part of the ‘18V Power for All System’ which also covers all representative tools in each segment, currently comprises about 80 DIY tools, gardening tools, and home appliances, and even extends beyond the Bosch range with additional partners in the cross-brand ‘Power for All Alliance.’ All tools – from rotary hammer to lawn mower and even vacuum cleaner – can be operated with the same 18V lithium-ion battery and only one charger. This saves users space and money and protects the environment.

Mobile bike cleaning made easy

Bike enthusiasts as well as hobby cyclists benefit from the compact design of the Fontus 18V-6 Bike Cleaner as it makes cleaning on-the-go an easy thing. With its integrated 6l tank, it contains sufficient water to get rid of both light and tough dirt. Therefore, it can be used anywhere without looking for a water or electricity source. For convenient carrying, the hose and gun are stored on the tool. Compared to the existing Fontus 18V, the Bike Cleaner is more compact and lightweight and therefore dedicated for usage on-the-go.

Multiple settings against mud and dirt

The Fontus 18V-6 Bike Cleaner has a pressure range from 2 to 20 bar and is categorized as a low pressure cleaner. Users can choose between normal and eco pressure mode, ensuring optimal cleaning power for various applications.
Normal mode, with up to a 20 bar rated pressure, is made for durable surfaces, while eco mode, with less than 5 bar, is ideal for more sensitive bike components. To make sure that every spot can be reached and cleaned thoroughly, the Fontus 18V-6 Bike Cleaner has four different spray patterns: Shower, wide (50°) and narrow (15°) fan jet as well as an angled fan jet.
By adjusting pressure and fan settings, users can not only use the tool to clean bikes, but also camping and outdoor equipment, dirty footwear, or to rinse dirty pet claws.

With the tool comes a claw brush which helps to remove stubborn dirt from bikes. A detergent nozzle to extend use cases, e.g., for spraying detergent foam or fertilizer, is separately available.

The Fontus 18V-6 Bike Cleaner will be available from December 2024 onwards in specialist bike shops. All prices are recommended retail prices including VAT.
