Bosch will offer professionals an even wider range of applications beyond the usual trades by adding outdoor equipment to the Professional 18V System. The expansion will kick off with a cordless hedge trimmer, grass trimmer, brush cutter, and Biturbo leaf blower, with further equipment, such as a Biturbo lawn mower, to follow. This will allow people such as facility managers of small to medium-sized buildings to handle all their tasks with the Professional 18V System – from repairs and maintenance to hedge and lawn care – and to switch back and forth flexibly between screwdrivers, saws, angle grinders, and outdoor equipment. The battery system even goes beyond the Bosch range, thanks to multiple partners in the multi-brand AmpShare battery alliance. Many brands. Many tools. One battery system: This saves tradespeople time, space, and money.

The cordless hedge trimmer, grass trimmer, brush cutter, and leaf blower have been optimized for professional use in terms of power, efficiency, and ergonomics. For example, they come with brushless motors, offer excellent balance, and feature an optimal performance-to-weight ratio to make the work of professionals as easy as possible.

GHE 18V-60 Professional hedge trimmer

The GHE 18V-60 Professional cordless hedge trimmer has a blade length of 60 cm, cuts through branches up to 20 mm in diameter, and with 3,000 spm swiftly trims protruding hedges to shape. Together with the recommended ProCore18V battery with 4.0 Ah, it weighs only 3.5 kg and can be operated comfortably in various grip and work positions. Tried and tested functions such as the Bosch Anti-Blocking system ensure fast and continuous work progress for professional hedge care: In case the blades do not manage to cut through the branch in one go, micro-electronics will control the motor to regulate the cutting direction of the blades in such a way that they keep sawing until the cut succeeds. This feature is unique to Bosch.

GRT 18V-33 Professional grass trimmer and GFR 18V-23 Professional brush cutter

The GRT 18V-33 Professional cordless grass trimmer uses a spool of line to reliably and quickly trim overgrown areas, cutting through overgrowth and weeds. Meanwhile, the blade of the GFR 18V-23 Professional cordless brush cutter makes short work of even woody vegetation such as blackberry plants. Thanks to the included spool, the brush cutter can be retooled as a trimmer for even greater versatility. The cutting diameter is 33 cm for the grass trimmer and 23 cm for the brush cutter. Both tools feature brushless motors and constant electronics for powerful, uninterrupted cuts, and their ergonomic design minimizes fatigue even on long working days.

GBL 18V-750 Professional Biturbo leaf blower

The GBL 18V-750 Professional leaf blower features Biturbo technology for outstanding power and performance. It reliably banishes leaves and litter from entryways, paths, driveways, and lawns, weighs just 3.7 kg (including the recommended ProCore18V battery with 5.5 Ah), and is easy to operate. Infinitely variable speed regulation offers optimal control so that users can thoroughly clear everything from dry leaves on gravel to wet leaves on grass. The leaf blower features a brushless Biturbo motor and axial blower, delivering a flow rate of up to 780 m3 per hour at a maximum air speed of just under 200 kph. The specifications of this 18V tool are comparable to those found in the 36V class, but the tool and battery combined make for significantly lighter and more compact operations – which makes day-to-day use less tiring.

The hedge trimmer, grass trimmer, brush cutter, and leaf blower are available starting in May, with the lawn mower to follow in the 2024 gardening season and further tools in stages after that. Many different accessories are available as part of the Bosch accessory range. All prices are recommended retail prices and do not include VAT.
