From hammers and screwdrivers to water pump pliers: as a competent partner for home and garden, Bosch will cover even more applications in the future. 40 new hand tools now complement the range, offering users a full selection of essential DIY tools in addition to a comprehensive assortment of power tools. Bosch expands this segment continually.

Precision-manufactured tools made from high-quality materials

The new hand tools are distinguished by solid workmanship and durability. Their high-quality surface treatment makes them particularly resistant to corrosion. In addition, robust materials help ensure optimum operation. The screwdrivers, for instance, are made of tough S2 steel to enable stable rotation. All tools feature the typical Bosch DIY green and black coloring and are intuitive to use, so that settings such as locking, and positioning can be made quickly and easily.

Easy to hold and intuitive to use

Ergonomics and haptics are important for comfortable, controlled, and safe operation – something that can be seen and felt with the new hand tools. Combination pliers, long-nose pliers, and side cutters, for instance, feature a patented internal contour, making the tools comfortable to hold and enabling precise grip control. The handle of the engineer’s hammer has a fiberglass core, which enables hitting precision with less vibration. The hammer also has a softgrip handle, making it pleasant to hold. Many of the tools feature inventive functions for ease of operation. The water pump pliers can be easily adjusted to fit the object using a button, with 26 settings. The folding knife opens quickly at the touch of a button, enables quick and safe replacement of the blade, and has space in the handle for two spare blades. The spirit level is available in two lengths and features a v-groove on the bottom to enable convenient use on bars and rounded objects. The screwdrivers have a magnetic tip to help pick up screws and facilitate hold when turning the screw. Color-coding on the end of the handle makes it easy to select the right screwdriver. The ratchet screwdriver comes with a pop-up bit magazine of twelve color-coded bits inside the handle for added convenience.

The hand tools are available now. The tools are offered individually and as single-type sets of screwdrivers, pliers, ratchet combination wrenches, socket wrenches, and hex keys. Mixed tool sets for different areas of use are also available. Additional hand tools are scheduled to follow in the months ahead.
