Following its cordless lawnmower, Bosch is now expanding the Professional 18V System outdoor equipment segment to include another powerful Biturbo tool: the GKE 18V-40 Professional cordless chainsaw. The lack of a cord makes jobs like shortening beams, cutting timber, or trimming thick branches easier for professionals such as carpenters and facility managers. The saw is much quieter in operation than gasoline-powered tools and works reliably at the touch of a button, without having to pull a cable first. That minimizes set-up times while protecting the hearing and nerves of users and their surroundings, in residential and commercial areas alike. The lack of exhaust fumes also makes it more pleasant to work indoors on jobs like converting attics or renovating half-timbered houses. In addition, the Professional 18V System allows professionals to take care of all their tasks – from repairs and maintenance to caring for outdoor spaces – and to switch back and forth flexibly between saws, screwdrivers, angle grinders, and outdoor equipment. The battery system even goes beyond the Bosch range, thanks to multiple partners in the multi-brand AmpShare battery alliance. Many brands. Many tools. One battery system: This saves tradespeople time, space, and money.
