Stuttgart, Germany – Effective April 1, 2025, there will be the following changes in the composition of Robert Bosch Industrietreuhand KG and of the Robert Bosch GmbH supervisory board.

With her term of office having come to an end, Prof. Renate Köcher will step down from Robert Bosch Industrietreuhand KG (RBIK) and the Robert Bosch GmbH supervisory board effective March 31, 2025. The managing director of the Allensbach Institute for Public Opinion Research has been a member of the Bosch supervisory board since 2012, and an RBIK shareholder since 2016. “We would like to thank Renate Köcher for many successful years with Bosch. With her extensive knowledge of business and social change, she has been a valuable adviser for the Bosch supervisory board and the shareholders meeting, and made an outstanding contribution to the company in her work on those two bodies,” said Prof. Stefan Asenkerschbaumer, the chairman of the supervisory board of Robert Bosch GmbH and managing partner of Robert Bosch Industrietreuhand KG.

At Robert Bosch Industrietreuhand KG, she will be succeeded by Gerd Chrzanowski (53), general partner of Schwarz Gruppe. He will become an RBIK shareholder effective April 1, 2025. A business economics graduate, Chrzanowski has held positions of responsibility in this globally leading trading group for more than 20 years. The group includes the food retailers Lidl and Kaufland, Schwarz Produktion, the environmental service provider PreZero, and the Schwarz Digits IT and digital business.

Also effective April 1, 2025, Köcher’s place on the supervisory board of Robert Bosch GmbH will be taken by Martina Merz (62). At thyssenkrupp AG, she was chair of the supervisory board and later CEO. Merz currently sits on the board of directors of Rio Tinto, U.K. and Australia, and of AB Volvo, Sweden. She is also a trustee of Carl-Zeiss-Stiftung.
