Pushbelt in a CVT transmission

In a CVT (Continuous Variable Transmission) transmission, the pushbelt transmits the output power of the motor to the drive axle. Since the pulleys with moveable conical drums can change the circumferential diameter of the belt on both sides as desired, the engine can always work in the best operating state. This improves fuel consumption and further reduces CO₂-emissions.
