“NanoBlade” saw blades stand for vibration-free, simple and precise sawing. Bosch is consistently pursuing technology that enables users to achieve exact cuts instantly and is expanding its existing range of saws with a new tool: the AdvancedCut 18 cordless saw with 18 volts for versatile and flexible applications. This means that DIY enthusiasts now have a choice of a total of four “NanoBlade” saws for nearly every application. Their shared advantage: “NanoBlade” technology is based on a saw blade with a revolving microchain, consisting of chain links that are only four millimeters in size. This means that the stroke movement that is typical of jigsaws and sabre saws, featuring high vibrations and saw blade running, is no longer required. The result is a saw which makes work particularly easy and precise and allows do-it-yourselfers to produce exact right angles.

One for all purposes: AdvancedCut 18 saws flexibly, quickly and powerfully

Cutting roof battens, shelves, beams or plastic tubes to length, trimming branches and sawing firewood to size: The AdvancedCut 18 all-purpose tool saws wood as well as plastics and composites particularly quickly and precisely with powerful 18 volts. For example, the saw can cut 250 roof battens of 24 x 48 millimeters to length – with just one charge of the 2.5 Ah battery. The tool’s design is well-balanced and particularly compact so that DIY enthusiasts can guide the cordless saw with just one hand and work comfortably, even on larger garden projects such as constructing sandboxes, flower boxes or rabbit hutches. This is enabled by the brushless motor. It occupies less space, has a longer lifetime and does not require any maintenance.

A system for combining tools: “Power for All” from Bosch

The AdvancedCut 18 is part of the “Power for All” battery system, which comprises DIY and garden tools. The same 18 volt lithium-ion battery can currently be used to operate more than 20 different power tools, from grass trimmers to rotary hammers. This enables do-it-yourselfers to do without batteries and chargers that they do not need, and they can save money at the same time. A “Power for All” logo on the packaging indicates which tools belong to the system.

The AdvancedCut 18 will be available from July 2018. The prices given are recommended retail prices including VAT. Subject to change.
