Bosch is expanding its hand tools portfolio for DIYers for even more applications in and around the home. The new tools enhance core segments, like screwdrivers and hammers, while adding new segments, like saws and files. The latest additions bring the product range up to over 100 products, with more to follow. All of the tools stand out thanks to their high-quality engineering and smart ergonomics. The design of the handles, which is tailored to every use, and the high proportion of soft grip ensure the tools are comfortable to hold. Clever features, such as a measuring tape pen holder that makes it easier for DIYers to add their markings, are another plus.

New saws for experienced users

Users will also find saws among the new hand tools. Along with familiar models such as hacksaws and handsaws, three different Japan saws provide a helpful addition for home workshops. These pull saws are particularly well suited for straight cuts. The Ryoba saw, with a flexible saw blade, features two different toothings for longitudinal, cross, and diagonal cuts to the grain. Its long handle makes it particularly easy to use.

Helpful individual tools and sets

Another addition: the new precision screwdrivers in an 8- or 13-piece set, which are suited for model making or working on electronic devices, among other uses. The rotating cap at the top end of the screwdrivers and the magnetic tip for holding smaller screws in place are particularly practical for fine and delicate jobs. Bosch is also expanding its range of ratchet tools, which are popular with customers. A large ½-inch ratchet with up to 768 Nm of torque for tough jobs and a ratchet screwdriver with a T-handle for torque of up to 46 Nm are available individually and in sets.

Alongside single-type sets, Bosch also offers its users mixed sets that contain a large selection of different hand tools in a sturdy case. The 56-piece Advanced tool set includes everything an experienced DIYer needs for their home workshop. An additional set with ratchets and screwdrivers, as well as a wide range of bits and connectors, is designed for fastening jobs. Meanwhile, an advent calendar that transforms into a hand tool set with a storage bag once all the doors have been opened is destined to bring joy to DIYers throughout the holiday season and beyond.

The new hand tools from Bosch also come with enhanced warranty options. Going forward, DIYers will receive a ten-year warranty on their hand tools once they register them. The new hand tools will be available starting in September. All stated prices are recommended retail prices and include VAT.
