Bosch is adding two powerful gardening tools to its ‘36V Power for All System’: The cordless chainsaw AdvancedChain 36V-35-40 is an efficient tool for large wood cutting tasks. With the cordless brushcutter AdvancedBrushCut 36V-23-750, overgrown and wild areas can be cleared reliably. Just like all tools in the system – from lawnmowers through to leaf blowers – both the chainsaw and the brushcutter can be operated with the same 36V lithium-ion battery and charger. This saves users space and money, and also protects the environment. The brushless motors in the chainsaw and the brushcutter provide enough power for demanding tasks and are particularly durable. This is based on the intelligent control electronics called ‘Syneon Technology’. Only Bosch offers this interaction between the motor electronics and the battery. As a result, the tools always deliver the optimum power and maximum endurance for each project. They also maintain full power until the battery is empty. This allows garden and DIY enthusiasts to continue sawing and cutting powerfully until their tasks are completed.

AdvancedChain 36V-35-40: Continuous sawing even through tough hardwood

The cordless chainsaw AdvancedChain 36V-35-40 is ideally suited for difficult tree pruning, cutting firewood to length and DIY tasks such as shortening of decking boards, and fence posts. With one charge of the 2.0 Ah battery, it is possible to perform more than 60 cuts through square pine wood with a thickness of 10 x 10 cm. Additionally to its powerful cutting performance, the AdvancedChain 36V-35-40 also offers users more reliability compared with competitors' models: The ‘OptiCut’ function enables users to saw continuously and produces a clean cutting result. The technology detects before the tool potentially stalls, and automatically adjusts the torque and speed. The AdvancedChain 36V-35-40 is equipped with an Oregon-90PX chain and a 35 cm Oregon chain bar. It cuts through wood up to 31 cm diameter in a single cut. Weighing 4.2 kg including a 2.0 Ah battery, the chainsaw is much lighter than petrol-driven chainsaws. The low weight and the convenient tool-free chain tensioning through the SDS System and automatic lubrication ensure easy handling and labor-saving work.

AdvancedBrushCut 36V-23-750: Well-kept garden with blade and cutting line

The brushcutter AdvancedBrushCut 36V-23-750 enables users to easily clear wild and overgrown areas. With a diameter of 23 cm, the laser-cut steel blade cuts through overgrowth, long grass, nettles, and brambles quickly and precisely. For lighter work such as the maintenance of lawn edges, gardeners can use the supplied ‘Pro-Tap’ trimmer spool which has a cutting diameter of 33 cm and feeds the cutting line by around 10 mm whenever tapped on the ground. Thanks to the ‘EasyWind’ system, replacement cutting line can be quickly and tool-free loaded if required. The integrated plant protection keeps the tool at safe distance from trees or flowers while trimming. The AdvancedBrushCut 36V-23-750 is also highly robust thanks to its shaft and motor housing being made of aluminum whilst the trimmer spool also has aluminum eyelets. By applying varying pressure to the activation trigger, users can easily control the speed of the blade and cutting line for optimum performance. The soft-start function also allows a smooth commencement of work. This ensures safer handling since the gradual increase of power lowers the risk of losing control. Weighing just 4.1 kg including the blade and a 2.0 Ah battery, the brushcutter makes gardening work less tiring than when using conventional petrol-driven brushcutters. Therefore, the AdvancedBrushCut 36V-23-750 is suitable for maintaining large gardens.

The AdvancedChain 36V-35-40 is available now, the AdvancedBrushCut 36V-23-750 will be available starting in June 2023. All stated prices are recommended retail prices including VAT.
